You
helped me discover what I needed to do career-wise and how
I needed to do it to still be true to myself. I wouldn’t
have gotten my promotion without your professional guidance.

Meet
the Coach
We all
have a gift, a talent. We can keep it for ourselves or we
can share it with others. My gift is the ability to listen
intently to people and hear through their words to what their
hearts are truly saying. This is what led me to open my coaching
practice in 1999 so I could use my gift to help others empower
themselves to do inspired work, live soulfully and play passionately.
I’ve
studied and worked hard to learn how to share my insights
directly, compassionately, and unconditionally and to inject
a sense of fun into an important process—finding one’s
way in the world.
I earnestly
believe that everyone has the personal power to create a life
that fulfills his or her strongest desires and that everyone
can live a rewarding life with grace, style and prosperity.
And, if so inclined, everyone has a gift to share with the
world, a passion to explore, a vision to follow.
Two
Gratifying Careers
I am
a “dual-careerist” since coaching is my second
career, my first being a teacher. In the fall of 2004 I began
my 20th year of teaching high school mathematics, though I
now only teach part time. While juggling two careers makes
for a challenging schedule, I can truthfully say that I love
them both. The years spent motivating young adults to achieve
at high levels--often beyond their perceived aptitude--has
given me a wealth of insight into the dynamics of success.
At the same time, working inside the pressure cooker of public
education has given me invaluable experience and skills that
I apply to benefit the individuals, teams and organizations
with whom I work.
Both
careers are serving to refine my skills and talents so that
I am able to deftly serve my clients as they reach to fulfill
their goals and dreams. Whether clients are in a boardroom,
a classroom or a living room, I am committed to their success.
Personal
Journey
What
coaching has given me professionally cannot compare to what
it has done for me personally. I was drawn to coaching because
the profession complements my talents but also because I needed
to get my own personal house in order. I had come to realize
that I was paying a high price for not being true to myself.
So, during
my early coaching studies I hired my first coach and began
making dramatic changes in my life. I’ve overcome huge
obstacles to get where I am now, and I can truly say that
I love my life and that I’m doing inspired work, living
soulfully, and playing passionately.

Philosophy
Live consciously in the present moment. The key to a rich, rewarding life is to make
conscious choices, to make the most of the present moment,
to follow your heart instead of long held mental scripts,
and to search for and speak YOUR personal truth.
To get what you want, work on who you are. In short, to get what you want
out of life you have to become your authentic
self. Be true to yourself every day and the outcomes
take care of themselves.
What
we have in our lives is exactly what we need. Raising your awareness and finding the lessons
that are embedded in the current situation will significantly
accelerate your personal growth. Once you embrace who
and where you are, you no longer strive for success; it
just arrives at your door.
My
Coaching Style
My most
predominate coaching style is to follow your lead, using both
the obvious and subliminal clues you send me. If you want
to be pushed hard, I push you hard. If you want gentle support
and encouragement, that is what I deliver. At the same time
I am watching out for what you resist as well as what lights
your fire. I will not hesitate to share my intuition and the
“picture” as I see it.
Coaching
is a significant investment in oneself, both in time and money.
How do you know that you’ve matched up with the right
coach? A 45-minute interview and “taste test”
isn’t always enough to be 100% sure in your choice.
